One decision layer

Built on the data your club already produces. Two modules: Health & Performance for the first team and Youth Development for the academy.

SLAB engine

Our proprietary artificial intelligence model

Every morning it processes each player's load, wellness, medical record and minutes. It estimates injury risk from load and history, and assigns each player to whoever should review them.

  1. 01InWhat the club already records: GPS, medical record, check-in and minutes.
  2. 02ProcessThe model estimates each player's risk against their own history.
  3. 03OutThe daily list, with one person responsible for each player.

Module 1Health & Performance

How the daily list is built

The engine combines the four sources and places each player in one of three groups. Each group has an owner: the doctor, the physio, or the day's standard protocol.

Sample squad of 28 players. Every data point passes through the SLAB engine and assigns a player to whoever should review them.

The command centre

The screen the medical staff start their day with: squad availability, competitive risk, microcycle load, wellness and data completeness, in a single view.

The squad, player by player

Status, readiness, wellness and ACWR for every player, with their trend. A filter separates available players from those in recovery, return to train or injured.

Module 2Youth Development

Every academy player, measured by maturity

Two 14-year-olds can be at very different stages of development. Youth Development estimates each player's maturity and groups age categories by development, so load is adjusted and each player is assessed against peers at the same stage.

  • Estimated maturity

Each player's biological age, updated with every measurement.

  • Development groups

Bio-banding: beyond birth year, each category is also organised by maturity.

  • Load by stage

Different thresholds for players in their growth spurt.

  • One continuous record

The player's full history reaches the first team intact.

Sample Under-15 category. Each dot is one player.

No extra work for the staff

Daily minutes SLAB asks of each role once implemented. No new positions, no new hires.
